Did you know that thanks to the City of Stirling and the MRA, you can now enjoy free wi-fi at Scarborough beach front? Surf without getting wet by logging on to FreeWiFi_MRA! And if you’re keen to keep your finger on the pulse with what’s happening in this vibey coastal precinct, then surf away and connect with these local businesses. It’s worth letting you know that PULSE has no affiliation with any of these, we just LOVE feeling part of Perth’s best neighbourhoods! How about you?
So who and what have we found lately? Open from 6.30am, it seems like THE HARDWARE STORE & CAFE EATERY on Brighton Road is the place to be! In fact there are so many new cafes popping up that we might bring you some behind-the-counter news in August. Stay tuned. In the meantime, we’ve heard that THE WILD FIG matches great food with pretty cool music. They serve up an awesome vego night on Wednesdays. And if you like to mix up some trivia while hanging out with friends, TORCH BAR at number 1 Scarborough Beach Road will keep you entertained with their Tastiest Trivia nights on Thursdays. THE SAND BAR also offers a winter warmer menu on the same night. There’s mixed reviews about MATISSE BEACH CLUB which is often the case when new venues launch. No complaints here about having more on offer though. GINGER OWL has their mini-shop-reno behind them and has racks of funky fashions and trendy home wares for that new apartment! Finally, if you love stunning imagery of our great coastline, SUNDAY SUNSETS will have you mesmerised.
That’s it for now. What’s your favourite local hangout in the area? Feel free to post a comment to our Facebook page. We’d love to hear what adds to your perfect coastal lifestyle.
